I'm very excited to see where 2015 takes me and The Little Fabric Store. I'll be adding more exciting Fabric Ranges and expanding on my haberdashery.
I'd like to thank you for being part of my journey. My Sewing Groups have been so rewarding. It's been an amazing experience to see people sewing for the first time and seeing that sewing bug setting in :) One of my ladies said she couldn't sleep at night because she was thinking about all the projects she'd like to make or was already working on. What an exciting journey she's on, one that will be part of her life and who she is. Have a wonderful Christmas & I look forward to hearing all about your 2015 Projects.
I ask all my customer to send through a photo of their finished project. It's a great way to see what people are making with my Fabrics. The photos are numbered and each Month a number is picked. The lucky Winner receives 3 Fat Quarters. Here are the winners of my Hall Of Fame Draw so far.

I have lots of new Fabrics & Gift ideas arriving. I'm getting very excited about my first Christmas in the Shop. I now have a Wish List available in the Shop. Most of us Crafters would love any Fabrics to assist our Project list, I know if anyone asks me it's either Fabric or Wool. The difficult part is which design & type do they go for. Now you can email me or pop in the shop with your gift request, making sure your bought gifts are exactly what you want on Christmas Day. If you're anything like me I love making a start on a new project over the Christmas period. Happy, happy, happy :)
Autumn is here, I love the way a new season sparks memories. Bonfire Night, I just can't get enough of the smell in the air and how it transports me back to my childhood.
This beautiful Collection by Janet Clare - A Field Guide - is now in stock. It's Janet's second Collection for Moda, a UK Designer. With it's muted natural tones it works wonderfully for the Autumn Season. Janet's inspiration came from her boys who were always collecting things whilst out & about. These then became special treasures.
- Priced at £3.00 a Fat Quarter / £12.00 a metre -
I'm making a Quilted Hand Sewn Cushion to show case these fabrics. It's such a timeless Collection, can you tell I love it - Helen -
I had a wonderful day on Sunday, the Victorian Family Fayre took place in Louth. Shop Owners & Stall Holders got into the spirit of the Event and dressed up Victorian style. I improvised with a black dress & a black skirt sewn to the bottom. I think it's years of finding clothes for the children's school events. There's nothing like a "World Book Day" to have you scouring the wardrobes!! I managed to get my hands on the Vintage Apron at at my last Craft Event at the Memorial Hall in Cleethorpes.
Thanks to everyone who called in to my little shop in New Street, it was a lovely to meet you. So many people visit Louth for this Event. It's great to be part of it. The Louth Town Partnership & Love Louth have worked really hard, they should be very proud, it was a great success.
There will be 10% off Fabrics in my Autumn Sale on Saturday 18th October. A great opportunity to buy fabrics for your Handmade Christmas Gifts. I'll also be Open 10-2pm for the Victorian Family Fayre on Sunday 19th October. A great Day out, it's well worth visiting Louth for this Event.
The Hall of Fame winner was picked by Sheila from Serendipity in Louth. Denise Inkson made a Pram Quilt, she was the lucky winner of 3 Christmas Fat Quarters.
